(1) Javascript can be defined in many different ways. 

(2) However, in a sense, Javascript is a high-level, object-oriented, multi-paradigm programming language.

(3) Javascript is a high-level language in that you don’t have to think a lot of complex stuff such as managing the computer’s memory while it runs or program. In Javascript, there are a lot of so-called abstractions over all small details which we don’t want to worry about. And this makes the language a lot easier to write and learn.

(4) Javascript is object-oriented in that it is mostly based on the concept of objects for storing most kinds of data. 

(5) Javascript is also a multi-paradigm language, meaning that it is so flexible and versatile that we can use all kinds of different programming styles, such as imperative and declarative programming. And these different styles are just basically different ways of structuring our code.

(6) HTML, CSS and Javascript are three technologies that work together to create beautiful, interactive and dynamic websites of web applications. 

(7) HTML is responsible for the content of the page. So the text, the images, the buttons, and all the contents that you see on the webpage is always written in HTML. 

(8) CSS is responsible for the presentation of the content mentioned in (7). It is basically for styling and for laying out the elements on a webpage.

(9) And finally, Javascript is the real programming language of the internet. It allows developers to add dynamic and interactive effects to any webpage. We also use it to manipulate the content or the CSS, load data from remote servers, and really build entire applications in the browser, which we call web applications. 

(10) To put it in an analogous way, HTML represents the nouns. CSS is an adjective because it describes the noun. And finally, Javascript is like a verb. For instance, you can hide the content defined by HTML.
